I began a general civil law practice in 1978. I have many years of experience in civil litigation, consumer law, real property transactions, contract preparation, estate planning, and family law. I gradually began to focus more and more of my attention on family law matters.
I became certified as a Family Law Specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization in 1994. I have a strong commitment to the practice of family law. I am a member of the Family Law Section of the Sonoma County Bar Association, and assist the Sonoma County family law judges by participating on bench-bar committees. I am a presenter at family law educational programs and a Northern California Super Lawyer. Although I frequently litigate family law cases, I am very involved in collaborative practice. I am president of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire, an organization dedicated to promoting the collaborative process. CCRE consists of collaborative attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial and other specialists.
Above all else, I am dedicated to helping each client rebuild his or her life after divorce.
